How do I remove vocals from a song online?

Upload a supported song or audio file, submit it for processing, and wait for the separation to finish. You will receive a vocal track and an instrumental track. Preview the instrumental result in the browser, then download it if it fits your project.

Which audio formats and limits are supported?

You can upload MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, and FLAC files. The maximum file size is 50MB, and the audio must not be longer than 30 minutes. The current page accepts one source audio file per generation.

What results do I receive?

Yes. Download the vocal result when you need an acapella-style track, or download the instrumental result when you want to make a song instrumental for karaoke or singing practice. Results are generated from the original mix and may still contain small amounts of sound from the other track. The tool does not create timed lyrics or karaoke videos.

What is the difference between a vocal isolator and a stem separator?

The Vocal Isolator page creates two tracks: vocals and instrumental. A multi-stem separator is designed to separate additional parts such as drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other instruments. Use the Vocal Isolator when you only need vocals and backing music separated.

Can it remove background music from audio?

It can separate vocal or spoken content from accompanying music when both are present in the source audio. It is not designed to remove general background noise such as wind, hiss, room noise, or traffic. An audio denoiser is more appropriate for those problems.

Will the vocal and instrumental tracks be perfectly clean?

Not always. Separation quality depends on the original mix, compression, reverb, backing vocals, overlapping frequencies, and recording quality. Some music may remain in the vocal track, and some vocal sound may remain in the instrumental track. A studio master with separate original stems cannot be guaranteed.

Can I upload any song or use the results commercially?

Only upload audio you own or have permission to process. Before publishing, sampling, remixing, distributing, or commercially using the results, make sure you hold the necessary rights to the original recording, composition, vocals, and other included material. You must also follow the current service terms and applicable law.
